For well over 30 years now, the city of Fairfax’s Parks and Recreation Department has sponsored an annual Holiday Craft Show. This year’s event is scheduled to run from November 16-17 at Fairfax High School. Artists and craftspeople from Fairfax County and from across the country will exhibit their wares, giving locals the opportunity to find unique treasures for everyone on your shopping list (and maybe even a little something for yourself). Last year’s event had 200 separate vendors on site, and this year’s promises to be even bigger yet. You’ll also find plenty of food available at the Craft Show, ranging from specialty food trucks, to gourmet vendors, to grab-and-go snack bars.

Parking at the high school is limited, so if you can’t walk or take public transit to the location, organizers encourage you to use the free shuttle bus that will be running continuously on Saturday from Willow Wood Plaza.
