Calling all wine lovers in Fairfax! There are a number of local wineries in the area, and with warm weather back in full swing, they make the perfect spots to kick back at on the weekend. Here are just a few great local wineries where you can enjoy fine wines, live music and much more.

  • Paradise Springs Winery. With a sister winery in Santa Barbara, you can be sure that Paradise Springs is the real deal. Admire the 1700s log cabin, listen to the sounds of the rushing Bull Run River, and enjoy tastings and tours at this charming destination winery.
  • The Winery at Bull Run. This is a winery for history buffs, with a beautiful backdrop of the Virginia countryside and buildings that pay homage to 19th century pastoral Fairfax county. On weekends during the warmer months, The Winery at Bull Run also plays host to local musicians and food trucks.
  • The Winery at La Grange. With roots dating back to the 1800s, this longtime area winery has perfected the art of winemaking.
